Robot animation with Maya and rendered with Arnold

Created the 3D scenes for this product film. The robot is CAD data imported to Maya. 
I did the rigging as well as shading and lighting of the 3D scenes. 
Shading was done with Arnold. The robot rig is just a simple setup with basic parent constraints. 
It was then animated with Maya. 


For the filmed parts we decided to do a rough previzualisation. This helped to get the timing right. 
Here is the very rough animated previz. The character was created with Autodesk Character Generator. It was rigged with HumanIK. 
The animation is playblasted from Maya´s viewport.
